The idea for this started with the newsletter, The Raleighwood Inbox.

My friends would ask what there was going on and I always seemed to have an answer but it was nothing more than a group chat.

I figured, why not take my interest in local happenings, clean up the text messages I was sending, and turn it into a resource for everyone to benefit from?

The goal for it was simple: to connect others to the best of Raleigh. Today, it’s evolved into a much larger project (which needed another spot to grow).

So that's where this website comes in.

This directory is intended as a curated resource of the best Raleigh has to offer and it will continue to grow with new offerings, categories, and updates.

Local guides are written by Raleigh locals who know the area, each new listing boosts the web presence of local businesses, and it helps bring folks through to the newsletter, which I believe is the best weekly resource in Raleigh right now (though, I am biased).
